Nothing screams BIG like TLo sporting the Red n' Black of Crissy's Dawgs. The SHIRT says it all!

Since around 2014 TLo, an alum and rabid Florida State Seminole fan, and Crissy, indoctrinated at a very early age that two things mattered in life – happiness and UGa football, reached an accord. During one round of the BIG tournament, the fan of whichever team finished lower ranked (unless there was a head to head season or bowl game matchup) would be required to wear the team colors of the higher ranked team.

The challenge got off to an inauspicious start for Chris as TLo’s Noles were enjoying a historic run, resulting in the commish donning the Garnet and Gold for the first couple of years. But as we Dawg fans are well aware of now, in 2016 the University of Georgia hired one Kirby Smart, and since 2017 an annual spectacle at least one day at every BIG tournament is Tony Lo sporting the G attire with style and grace.

There was a glimmer of hope that Crissy might have to knock the dust off of his FSU shirt collection in time for the 2024 BIG, as both the Noles and the Dawgs were snubbed by the CFP committee. As luck would have it the two teams were given an opportunity to play each other in a consolation bowl, so for the first time since the Shirt Challenge began, a HEAD to HEAD meeting would determine the fashion attire for the 2024 BIG. Sadly for TLo, a 63-3 Orange Bowl beat down by Kirby’s Dawgs resulted in yet another G shirt for the TLo collection. Quite dashing the G look in Black you must admit, eh Tony? Looking forward to the 2025 BIG as well, as the Pups made the CFPs and FSU sunk to new Lo’s…can you say 9 straight years of red n black? Rumor has it TLo is a closet shirt wearing “Roll Tide” fan on occasion as well!
